The 3 days Murchison falls safari takes us northwest of Uganda for a fantastic wildlife safari in Uganda’s biggest and oldest national park ; Murchison falls national park. The park is popularly known for and was named after the breathtaking Murchison falls which is a major highlight for the safari. This trip involves a game drive around the savannah plains to look out for the park’s game such as lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, various kinds of antelopes and giraffes among others. Murchison falls NP is bisected by the Nile on which we take a boat cruise towards the bottom of the mighty falls watching numerous birds, crocodiles and hippos in the waters and along the shores. The hike to the top of the falls is a whole adventure on its own and one of the most enjoyable experiences of the safari.

After about 4 hours of the drive, drive back to the lodge, relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding.

You will have lunch and later on go for the afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. The launch cruise starts at the ferry crossing area and as it takes you towards the Murchison falls, you see a lot of wildlife including hippos, Nile crocodiles, lots of birds and a few antelopes and giraffes. After viewing the stunning bottom of the Murchison falls, get off the boat and head for the hike to the top of the falls where the driver guide will pick you and transfer you to the lodge.
