Queen Elizabeth national park is situated in western Uganda and it occupies an area of about 1.978 square kilometers. The park is home to up to 95 mammal species and over 600 bird species plus hosts varying ecosystems which include; Kazinga channel, lakes, forests as well as the massive savannah vegetation numerous plant species.

Day1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park

After your morning breakfast, meet and greet with our company guide for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Driving through the Masaka-Mbarara Highway, delight in a wonderful stop over at the Uganda Equator. Feel free to take photos at the Equator line, stretch and buy some refreshments. After the awesome break, proceed with the journey enjoying lunch enroute in Mbarara and later connect to Queen Elizabeth national park. Upon arrival check in at your booked lodge relax, dinner and an overnight stay.

Accommodation option: Buffalo Safari Lodge, Elephant Hub Lodge or Mweya safari Lodge.

Day2: Morning Game drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Today, wake up early for a cup of coffee and there after head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains to see various animals. Kasenyi plains is the best site for rewarding game in the park since it hosts populations of wildlife and acts as a breading ground for the Uganda kobs. The Uganda Kobs attracts many carnivals to this place as their favorite prey. On your game drive, enjoy looking at herds of buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, oribis among others. Drive back to lodge for lunch and short rest.

In the afternoon, transfer to the peer for the boat cruise experience on the amazing Kazinga channel. The cruise exposes you to another game viewing adventure at the shores of the channel. Many animals congregate here to take water and quench off their thirsty. Enjoy sights of the hippos and Nile crocodiles wallowing at the shores of the basin. It is of great important to note that kazinga channel hosts the biggest populations of hippos in the world. Later return to the lodge for a nap, dinner and over night stay.

Day3: Departure to Kampala

Wake up and delight in a leisure breakfast at the lodge as you enjoy the intriguing beauty of the park. Have a late check out and begin your journey back to Kampala. You enjoy lunch enroute in Mbarara and continue with the journey, arriving in the evening, your driver guide drops you at your hotel of residence or at Entebbe international airport to catch up with your flight back home or to your next safari destination.
